CircusMASH puts great energy into developing education through circus for schools in the West Midlands as part of it’s wider mission to develop circus in the region. We believe that it is important that future generations are equip with the necessary skills to control and develop their own futures. We use circus as our medium to engage youth in activities that provide them the tools to understand their own language, learning process’ and how to adapt this into their  life.

Integral partnerships from the National Centre for Circus Arts, NoFit State Circus (The leading contemporary circus company in the UK) and the world famous Cirque Du Soleil puts us at the for font of circus in the region and we want to share our love to make the world a better place for everyone.

These workshops are suitable from reception class up. Although the skills are the same for each age group, our approaches will be different.

School Residency Programme

Our circus residency programme gives children the opportunity to master a variety of circus skills and the chance to star in a performance that will delve deep into their subconscious, unlocking their attitude, enforcing a strong belief of internal power to achieve the impossible. This in-depth performance programme builds confidence, self reliance & self esteem, character, positive attitudes, will power, determination and success. This is our most intensive, dynamic program ensuing great rewards for all involved. Let us know if you would like details of schools we have worked with so you can hear all about it for yourself.

How it works?
The programme is completely flexible can run during the school day or as an after school club. Children will not be needed for maximum one hour per day. At the start of the week we come along and put the participants through a placement audition after which we cast each of the children into the show.

Cost:
This all depends on what you want out of this programme and how many children you would like involved.  After an initial chat we’ll put together a proposal for you. To subsidise the cost, some schools like to use this as a fundraiser. We can have a chat with you about how this can work if it is of interest.
